Mia Moda
Public Relations, Web, Interactive Advertising, Print
How does a start up stroller manufacturer stand out in a crowded category?
By creating a unique brand proposition, and choosing unconventional marketing tactics, of course.
Mia Moda, makers of fashion-forward baby strollers came to Reese in the Summer of 2005 with a business problem: they had a brand which was completely unknown, and needed to introduce it to the marketplace immediately.
So we stared with a public relations campaign aimed at the trade and consumer books. We added a targeted paid media campaign designed to get results, and topped it off with a website design that competes with some of the most well-funded brands out there.
The results? Staggering.
How does 11,500 visits to the web site, 60 new dealers, pick ups in five national publications, and the attention of one, very discerning stroller critic all within three months of launching sound?
We thought so too.
